Hello Corvette community. I have finally decided to join a vette forum after owing my C5 for awhile and surfing many forums for many reasons. This forum in particular has been a reliable source of info for all my DIY projects.
I have an all bolt on's 99 A4 coup that I just had dyno tuned the other day after doing all the bolt on's I planned to do for now. It made 325 hp and 325 torque on a dynojet with a K&N intake, P&P TB, LS6 intake, NGK TR-55 plugs, MSD 8.5 wires, an x-pipe, and Bassani cat back.
Not bad numbers, but not impressive either. Im sure a mustang dyno would show a little more, but the important thing is that its running at its peak after months of part by part swapping. Just thought Id share this for now. I have a heads and cam project planned for the future, but wont be messing with it any time soon.
Thanks for all the valuable information, recommendations, specs, etc that I have used up to this point from all members.
Thank you, I have several other suspension mods and cosmetics done too. But really i only care about the power I'll have to get used to the site and put some pics up and stuff.
Thanks guys.
Oh and I cant believe i forgot to mention it, but the single best modification I made was putting a 3.42 diff behind my A4. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for performance as a cost effective and noticeable gain. Of course I needed to put on NT05 tires to hook up, but I only paid 275 bucks for the diff because it was out of a wrecked 04 Z06.
