Another Newbie c5z
about ME:
I am a composites process engineer on the boeing 787 and 777 in Wa.
I graduated with a plastics engineering and a vehicle engineering degree in 2009.
because of this I know my way around a wrench or two and composite structures, I spent 4 years on the Formula SAE team and was a Formula SAE competition driver for 3 years.
I have also done two chump races and a bit of auto cross racing.
Because of this and my budget and desire the C5z seemed to be perfect so that's what I picked up about a month ago. I plan to go to about 5-12 laping days a year, some autoX and drives with the car. I am currently getting seats and harnesses figured out in anticipation of a Corvette lapping day at pacific raceways july 26th.
I ended up getting it in AZ and having an epic road trip back with one of my good buddies who liked the car so much he went and bought one two weeks ago. Now we have nearly identical electron blue c5 z06's.
