I picked up my Torch Red Corvette with a museum delivery this spring. Everything about the museum delivery is first class and the people were friendly and very helpful. I had a 1998 Corvette and loved it, then I went over to the dark side and had three Vipers. Everyone asks me how the new ZR1 compares to the three Vipers I had. The Corvette is light years more comfortable than the Vipers, even the 2009 Viper with the improved air conditioning and insulation. The Viper is a great car but all of them squeak and rattle like the older Corvettes did, and the ride is much firmer jarring your kidneys and bones. Servicing the Viper at a Chrysler dealer is another story, because they treat it like a stepchild and parts take days and sometimes weeks to get. I got tired of it being in the shop all the time. I love the ZR1 and will probably never sell it. I look forward to driving it every day. I believe these cars should be driven and not be garage queens, so this will be my daily driver. For snow and ice I have my H2 to get to the hospital in. I'm looking forward to being on the forum and will post some pictures when I figure out how to do it.

HI Doc! I also had a 97 Viper GTS and liked it, however, the Corvette is a lot more comfortable, and there's no such thing as a cool cockpit in a Viper on a 92F day with the pipes running under the seats. The Viper handled well but rode like a tank and may have been the start of my back problems. I think the more you drive other sports cars the more you appreciate the Corvette. Your C6 ZR1 is on my bucket list.....what a car! Another observation is that after years of Corvette events: shows from Bloomington to Carlisle, I think Corvette people are much friendlier and easier to talk with than the Venom Group.
