Newbie here! ..well, sort of.
Hey guys,...first post here. I've lurked around off and on, the last couple years.
I'm buying a early c5, Monday, and I'm pretty stoked about it! I'm praying it'll be as clean as it's represented. Flying out of state a good ways, for it.
I'm not totally new to vettes, but only had a couple of c4's. When i was 19 i bought an 84 L83 crossfire, white, with tan leather,
auto. Then a few years later got a clean 88 L98 white, with brand new red leather, new red carpet,...looked like a murder in there. That one was back in 2003.
So my last performance car was a mk4 supra tt, with a t61 conversion, first a built auto with 2800 stall, then a r154 5 speed swap. It was still on stock fuel, and was tuned with map-ecu. It sat on bilsteins and eibachs, with Ccw classic road race pack. (18x10-17x11.5),....with a wings west lip, and a trd wing. Well,...I ended up wrecking it. Partly my fault, partly the woman that almost side swiped me.
Since,..I've had a 99 SC300 Lexus, bagged on ksport coilovers, and on another set of Ccw classics (polished 18x10-18x12).
What's funny is, the c5 I'm buying, has Ccw classics as well! Gonna make a cool picture, in the driveway.
So I really look forward to learning about the c5's, and meeting some other enthusiasts!
