need advice 84 corvette
hey guys got a couple questions hopeing for some help,thanks....
my friend wants to sell me a1984 c4 corvette stock with the glass top putting new rubber on it,88,xxx original miles,no rust, dash lights like to turn off randomly, runs an drives nice, only one owner bought it used it then parked it for along time in a shed, its tan,no ticks or any knocks runs on all 8,no spittin or sputtering....he wants 6000for it wondering moneys not an issue just wondering if it would be worth the money an also wat would be a nice motor an trans set up for it in the future wanting to build one from block up looking for some advice on tht as well oh an any issues the cars are known for is you guys could help me out id much appreciate it...

C4's offer a tremendous value for the money right now.
Check out the C4 section of the forum, there is alot of great information there.
My concern is the electrical issues can be difficult and expensive to fix. If you are really interested, you could bring it to a mechanic as a part of the pre-sale requirements and get an estimate to have it fixed. I don't know if you need a new dash cluster or what the cost would be.
