from rotary to corvette
As some can tell from my forum name--I am not a young man.
I used to drag race and dirt track race( with family) in the mid 60's

I have enjoyed cars all my life and have owned many different types.
For the past 8 years I have been running a twin screw SC/air/water intercooled, water methanol injected RX8. + many other mods lol.Its a sweet car and it is pretty fast on the road track. It can do a sub 1:40 at road atlanta for example and I am only running 7lbs of boost with approx 300rwhp. It is a DD. We run with NASA,PCA,BMW and DarkSide.
The rotary fascinated me and I have to admit--its a great engine when done right. Contrary to popular belief it is pretty reliable. But, after having a lot of fun with it and the club I am in, I am just about ready to return to my roots. After listening to the cammed v/8's .....well you know!
My 2 favorite cars sounds is the free revving 3 rotor engine and the idle of a well built/tuned v/8. It's just music. I need a sound machine of those to use to sleep by

So here I am--lurking around. I will surely learn a lot from you people.
I think at this point I will probably be looking for a 2004 C5Z.
