Folks, I have just joined the Corvette Owner's Family, I have always loved the style and design of the Corvettes but really admired the C3 version. My dilema is this,... to what extent can I modify this car and still consider it original? The numbers match on it but the Carburator was replaced by owner #2 and is a Holley 650 with an aftermarket Air Cleaner, I'd like to get a Rochester, but I really want to bring it into the 21st century with a FAST system and MSD ignition Systems, but I don't want to degrade the value of the car or its originality. with only 53k on it, the car is a solid investment, but I'd like to improve the reliability, tunability, and Horsepower. Any Suggestions?
Welcome to the forum check out the C3 section and you will get plenty of sugestions, but it in the end it is your car so you can really do what you want enjoy the ride
Welcome to the forum.
As long as you are only bolting on mods and can easily bring it back to original you should be OK. Just keep the old parts.
Good luck.
