Hey everybody. Im new to the forum and the corvette.Im in Temecula,CA. I bought a C5 that Shift had listed for sale here last week. Im coming out of my Mustang. The power seat caught fire and totaled the car in the middle of the night. I had it running 11.65 with 493 Rwhp. Went thru 2 different superchargers and a slew of other mods. I was actually building a 5.4 for a twin turbo before the fire.
I own another 06 that Im putting back to stock as well and a 94 that I DD.
Im pretty excited about the corvette. I wanted one before I bought my mustang. I read in an older post about this car that the fastest time was a 12.2 (when jayinaz owned it) so the first thing I want to do is swap the converter. Ive been researching on here and it looks like Ill be going with a Yank probably in the 3600 to 4000 range depending. I want to swap a bigger cam in as well as Im use to that big lope. I would love to take this thing low 11s.
