Prospective Vette Owner
Hello, everyone.
My name is shadoquad, and I'm a long time Vette worshiper, hoping soon to be a Vette owner. Little background on me...
I have been a big vette fan since the days of the C5. I've been to Bowling Green, KY, about 5 years back, and I took the factory tour and toured the museum. I've wanted a Corvette for a little over a decade.
The first car I bought when I got a real job was a Mazda6 with a manual tranny. Cheap and it still runs today, it has been my dependable workhorse.
Two years back, I decided to buy a sports car and wound up buying a 2010 Nissan 370z, my Chiana. I love it, make no mistake. It's been a wicked hoot. And the only reason I bought it over a used C5 was because for 30k, I could get one brand new.
Now I've saved up a bit of dough and I am looking at getting a C6 Z06 on the used market. I'm this close to achieving my dream. I test drove an '07 Z06 a few weeks back, and I'm absolutely in love.
I am hoping to use this forum as a resource for information about potential vette ownership, and I hope to be able to contribute if or when the need arises.
