I am Doc Leathers. I design medical equipment, and will retire next year. I am part of the "over 50 crowd" now, and I live in Kirkland WA with my son and wife. I have owned many fine cars over the years, but none have stirred my soul like the C1, C2, and C3s I have built and owned. I would say my favorite is the 58-59-60 body style, and I have vowed to build one more for my son before it is over. I also build airplanes (BearHawk) and enjoy fishing, hunting, and SCUBA diving. I am building a 1968 Camaro right now. It is a left-over from my youth, and has only 16K actual miles on it to this day. It has a stock six cylinder and three-speed on the floor. It won't take long to restore it to original, as thankfully, I never got around to "modifying" it when I was young. I pickled it and put it in storage during college and grad school, and there it has set for 26 years. It will be my son's first car! Cheers!
Doc
Thank you for the warm greeting! I am very pleased with this forum, and will probably spend a good deal of time getting up to speed on what you guys are up to!
