Hello all,
I just purchased a 1978 red on red L48. I have wanted this body style ever since I can remember. I found one in great shape and had to pull the trigger (but I'm in the doghouse with the wife for a bit) Totally worth it!
It has 66K original miles, original pain and interior. Engine runs smooth, just needs some new plugs and a pit of a polish and wax.
I wanted something to tinker on. I plan on tearing the engine and tranny apart and building it back up with a bit more horses. Eventually paint and interior will be redone, but they are in pretty good shape for 35 yrs. It will be a daily driver.
First things first....new stereo. I can only take so much AM/FM.
I'll be picking brains soon, when the weather gets colder and I start tearing things down. See you soon!
