HI folks. I bought a very clean 94 LT1 6 speed a month ago and found this site quickly when I realized my C4 has Flintstone brakes.
Lots of good tech info here, including good leads on troubleshooting the brakes. My new toy only has 73,000 miles on it, but unfortunately the last couple of owners thought regular oil changes constituted complete maintenance, so first order of business was flushing the entire cooling system - block, radiator and heater core.
Future weekend projects include changing transmission fluid and reworking the brakes with new pads, caliper kits and stainless steel braided lines.
Fortunately the last owner has already suffered through replacing both window guide rails and reworking both headlight gear boxes, so that's two things that shouldn't need attention again any time soon.
