Another new owner!
Hello all, I've been saving for years to buy a corvette and a few months ago hit my money target. I've been lurking here for information while I decided all the details. My intent had been to order new, and when I brought my negotiator (wife) with to sit down to finalize the deal, we found they still had this 2012 Z06 centennial on the lot. She hadn't been there forever as it was an end of model year car, but I got a much better deal!
The only things the car didn't come with that I would have ordered are the Z07 package, CFZ, and hood. It has PTM and the magnetic ride control, so I'm really only missing the carbon ceramic brakes and the PS Cup tires from the Z07 package. Not sure if I'll miss the brakes, the tires will be taken care of eventually, now about the splitter and side skirts, hopefully I can get those components somewhere. Not really necessary, but sure look nice.
Anyway, that was sunday night, I'm on an island off the coast for the rest of the week, can't wait to get back to my car this weekend!

As you probably found out there are not a lot of pure competition Corvette clubs around. It would be worth the drive.

Thanks for the info on the Arizona club Dadman, I'll definitely look into it. Does seem like the Corvette clubs don't generally run as much.
