SoCal 1986 corvette - Bakersfield

Hello all,

I am getting my first corvette! It is a Red 1986 TPI, it has just been striped down and painted I still need to swap interior with another one I purchased for parts. One I have it up and running I will buy a new set of wheels and tires. Also have already purchased a sweet double din stero with all of the latest tech including rear view cam.

Any noob corvette owner advice?

My first vette was a red 1986, I loved that car! It was great. Put a computer chip in and wow what a BIG improvement in power! ENJOY!

Welcome and Congratulations on your purchase. I'm new too and the advice I would give is spend some time on this site before deciding on what you want to do with your car. You'll learn a lot. ALso, I found that it is better to search your questions on Google rather than with the forum's internal search engine. For some reason the forum's search engine isn't that great while google will take you to the right forum thread.

Can you please guide me to a how to on this?

Thanks all. I own a Yamaha fz6r motorcycle and am an avid forum member. I will have to put in some time here as well
