Hello from Colorado. I currently have a 2012 GS, very impressed with the performance that Corvette has to offer.
I used to think there wasn't a big difference between a muscle car (even newer) and a sports car. I have both now and feel the difference. Looking forward to doing a couple track days at some local places for pure excitement.
Thanks everyone. I will have to tell the full story behind this car, it is pretty wild.
Short version, I won a 2012 base Corvette and owned it for about an hour. I wanted a GS at a minimum or a Z06. The ZR1 doesn't interest me since I couldn't control myself in that car. There were two ZR1's on the showroom floor, one GS and three Centenial corvettes on the lot. I like the GS body the best, so that is the one I chose.
This all happened in Orlando, FL while on a conference for work. The car should ship this week sometime.
