Time to Sign On
After spending much time on the forum site reviewing the vast amounts of information I decided to officially join. Over the years I have had a 1962 327CID/340 HP, 4 speed, 4:11 rear end, hard and soft tops. Exterior was black with a red interior. Nickname for the car was "BLACK MAGIC". Sold the car in order to pay for grad school. After having a 1966 GTO (389, 4 barrel, 4 speed), which I sold to buy my first home, I had a 1977 Forumula Firebird (T/A 400, 4 speed) which I sold to buy my 1987 silver gray vette. Sold the '87 vette with 8,800 miles on it after 13 years. In 2008 I purchased a brand new silver gray/black interior Z06. Had the Z four years now. It is now under wraps and on a battery tender charger for the winter months. During the winter months the Z is started once a month, moved out onto the drive, run for about an hour and put away nice and hot. Cover up after motor cools down. The Z won't see the open road until all the salt is washed from the roads which happens after a few good rain storms in the spring. Looking forward to my time on the forum.
