Default happy to be here

just a wrench junkie. old fart.
recieved from inlaws a 79 t-top to restore. i will have some Q's. alarm system and a handling issues. the ls6 was down shifted too early. rod left via the side door. now has a generic goodwrench block. nose dives into turns. IMHO, if an oe vette can't hold the road, it's just another chevy.

grew up on chevy's. first car was 64 nova II wagon. 283/muncie.
currently have a 76 pu 454/th400/456/holley/edelbrock/msd/headman/crane/ other slippery stuff. top speed 86mph. but she get's there now!
current personel project,
56 willeys pu 4x4 rat rod. trying to retain 4x4 ability w/pto's and still rat it. harder than i thought it would be. just more fun.

anyway, DAV, so a little slow. mentally and physically. did i say old? arthritis. ex fighter plane and harley mechanic. i still don't let anyone touch my vehicles. but i'm gettin older. so that's prolly around the corner.

in the mean time, i hope to have some fun w/ the families vette and on here.
