Default Returning to the Vette World

With the new C7 coming out later this year, I have decided that I have been Vette-less too long. It's time to get the plan in motion for a purchase and a return to the Vette fraternity.

While living in Melbourne, FL, I was one of the lucky guys who was fortunate to take ownership of a 2001 QS Z06 in early September 2000. It was in the midst of the C5 frenzy and it was a great time to own a Vette.

I had owned a couple of mid-years in the past (early 80s) but the internet enabled the Vette community and promoted the comradery that is what makes owning a Vette a rewarding experience.

Like many of you, I too was born with the "mod" gene. I immediately started to modify my Z06, long tube step headers, vortex rammer, stingers, bigger injectors, cam, computer tuning etc. If it improved performance, I wanted it.

Due to the economic dive in the early 2000s, I lost my job. I eventually decided to sell my Z06 in 2006.

I have since moved around the U.S. and I am now living in Cedar Park, TX (Austin suburb)

I am looking forward to re-joining the Vette community and re-acquainting myself with folks I that I got to know when I owned my Z06 as well as making new friends here and on the forum.

Have a great day!
Don
