Hey Guys, Finally bought my first real sports car on friday and drove it 1100 miles home. So thrilled that I got a 2001 corvette and not a stang or Evo. Can't even believe that I was considering anything else looking back now. However, 150 miles into my trip home my fuel gauge quit working lol. I was so excited that I was going get to watch my mpg and range on the trip, yet I had to guesstimate the whole way. Was Still an amazing drive and I'm totally in love with my vette. I do have a question however and hope someone can shed some light on it. In second gear at around 4500 rpm ( no where near red line ) I'm loosing power and my dash lights up with the traction control symbol. It was wet out the two days I've noticed this and maybe it's nothing. Am I just being paranoid lol ? Look forward to reading this forum and talking with other vette owners!

Welcome and Congratulations on your Corvette! Does your problem occur with TC off? In any event. Post in C5 forum in either general or technical and you will get your answer.

Hi, No I tested this yesterday and I haven't had any issues in 2nd with the TC off. So I'm assuming that my issue was the TC doing its job lol.
