Wow, this is a great site! I just bought my first Vette after dreaming for nearly 40 years. Fell in love with them in the early 70's when a family friend bought a Stingray and gave me the ride of my life and I never "got over it".
I just bought a 2001 C-5 4 days ago (big thanks to my wife for encouraging me to pursue my dream), it is Pewter with a 6 spd manual. We drove it back to Oregon from Calif. where we bought it and discovered some electrical problems on the trip. Tonight I found this great forum with lots of helpful answers and insight into the problem.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who makes this site work!
