New member looking for info
Hi guys,
I have always loved the corvette, particularly the C3s, '68 to early 70's kind of era, and I finally have a bit of money that I can buy one. I don't particularly care that it is all matching numbers or anything, I would probably put a newer engine in it anyways so I don't feel bad about putting miles it. I would like to find a project car that runs, but still has a bit of work to do. I am pretty much looking for something with a manual transmission, little to no rust, and T-top. My budget is about 5-10k. Is that reasonable? From what I have seen in ads they are asking about 10-15k. What does something like that usually go for?

Enjoy while you can.

Excellent suggestion. Welcome aboard!
Welcome to the forum. Deals ARE out there, but don't expect it to be a drivable early C3 for $5k. Plan on $9-13k realistically for what you are looking for, especially with a manual tranny.
Hop on over to the C3 General discussion board. Lots of good info already on there. I know it helped me with my '72.
