I joined the forum a while back when I was looking to buy a C3 Corvette. I've always found forums to be a great source to help me make better decisions. I bought a 1972 Roadster that had been sitting in a guys garage for 20 years after it had broke down while he was driving it. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Although being a pretty big guy, I could use a tilt column. That will be another project. So far I've had the motor rebuilt. completely gone through the braking system. Added headers and a new exhaust system, upgraded the original distributor to HEI. Rod out the radiator, new vacuum hoses and quite a bit more. Current project is getting the engine tuned properly. Have really been enjoying reading the posts on tuning an engine. Next project is the seats. The foam in the seat covers themselves is like powder. I'm thinking on going with Al Knoch's OEM covers. Any suggestions, would be appreciated. Tim

Very nice...most of us dream about an old "garage or barn find". I had a couple of C3s that I'd like to have back today...but, I guess we always want something not necessarily new, but different. I always say that anyone who gets one of my used cars, get's a jewel. Good luck with your project and hang out at CF!
Congrats and welcome to the forum. I bought a set of mounted seat covers for my '92 from Al Knoch last year and am pleased with them. They are made in Texas.
