First Corvette
I just bought my first corvette on impulse..I didn't even know what a C4 was .I just bought it because I liked it.It runs perfect,and shifts good..The guy I bought it from lives on a better road than me,and when I test drove it I was impressed..I first found this site because when I drove the car home on my road I thought there was something wrong with it because of the ride..LOL.I had never even been in a Corvette before,I was expecting a smooth ride.Either the car has gotten better or I've gotten used to it.I look for any excuse to drive it..I think I paid too much for it at 6,000 because it has high miles..I didn't know that they were thought less of than most Corvettes..But I enjoy driving it so much that I don't feel guilty for paying it.....Charlie

Welcome,, it doesnt sound like the price price is to high if its in good condition. I paid 4k for my 88 coupe that had almost a 165k miles on it a few years ago. It ran great but had some other issues still loved it and couldnt drive it enough

Thanks,It's been really well maintained,and is in great shape...I went down to the garage a little while ago and took some pics,but but can't figure out how to post them..I'm open to sugestions
