Introduction
A little about myself. I own a 1978 Silver Anniversary purchased in 1988. Beautiful car and fun to drive. I am a helicopter lead maint. tech in a major production facility. I work on the flightline in testing and troubleshooting before delivery to customers. My goals for my corvette would be to make it a better daily driver. (fuel economy and driveability). I have nearly 25 years in the collision industry owning my own shop before I got the flying bug and pursued aviation. I also had a stint of about eight years professionally restoring vintage motorcycles for the public. Mostly BMW prewar. Hoping to glean some much needed info on possible upgrade mods to my survivor and be able to drive it more. Thanks for allowing me to this forum. Also I can provide help in the refinish and mechanical side to these (C3) beauties.
