Just to say Hi, Im Curt, a retired aircraft maintenance tech/tech writer, living in the Phoenix area in winter and spending the summers on the road in a motor coach with the fam.
My 1972 StingRay has been in a coma in our garage since 1996 and Ive recently found the time to attempt to bring it back to life. Of course Im finding it much more of a challenge than expected but there is no hurry and funds arent unlimited so I'll be looking to you guys for advice on how to conquer the many mountains of difficulty to bring it back to life.
This car is my 3rd Corvette and has been with me since my dating days back in the late 70's (geeze, that sounds like words in a history lecture). Dear wife and I dated in it, so she wouldnt ever let me sell it. I used to be fairly knowledgable on the health and welfare of the Vette but that was a long time ago. I hope you guys can help me get this project off the operating table and back on te road.
