My wife and I recently inherited a white 1989 Corvette Convertible with red interior. The car was my father-in-law's, a disabled veteran (Army Ranger, Vietnam), who passed away in October 2012. He enjoyed driving this car almost as much as riding his 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcyle. We're looking forward to enjoying it for many years to come and hope to pass this car down to his future grandchildren as a family heirloom.
Sadly the car was neglected a bit in the last couple years, having been parked mostly outside and driven very rarely. However, I have already gotten some great advice on this site in the last couple months, as I have undertaken small maintenance project on the vehicle in order to bring it back up to regularly operating conditions.
