What Is Up!
Sup everybody? My name is Terry and I am a locomotive engineer for the BNSF Railway in Amarillo, TX. It's cool if no one knows where that is since I don't really even know where we are at.
I'm not quite sure what even made me start looking into a Vette since I've never had family members with one nor had a ever even ridden in one. I've always known they were around and seen them, but never really took interest. I've had Mustangs, Firebirds, and a Trans Am throughout my vehicle history, but those all went to the wayside when I had to get practical. My wife and I adopted a beautiful baby girl last March and we had to get rid of all the nice things to be able to afford that process. Now a little over a year later and there seems to be a perfect storm of things taking place that is bringing me into the Corvette community. We have paid off our adoption expenses, we have stepped away from another hobby, and the C7 has been introduced! I'm not quite sure what has enthralled me about the new C7, but I can't quit thinking about this car! I have read every article, watched every video, and peeked and almost every forum post. I LOVE THIS CAR! So, the deposit has been made, the ordering decisions have been thought out and changed and thought out and changed again, and my mind is finally made up. So later this year I will be the proud, yet highly improbable, owner of a new C7.
I can't wait to get to know all of you and to be able to learn everything you all have to offer this community about this wonderful automobile! Thanks for taking the time to read my wall o' text and if you didn't take the time to read it all I do understand!
