Looking To Replace a Lost Love
Nearing 60 years old I have decided to give in to my emotions and buy another Vette. My first introduction to the Corvette was as a 16 year old and a 1956 Vette. Was owned by a family member who sold it when he needed a few bucks. He got $4,000. Wonder what it is worth today? Anyway I fullfilled my dream when I bought a 1985 Vette then when my kids went to college I had to sell it. Tuition sucked. Now living in one of the coolest areas of the country on the Gulf Coast we need a 2000 to 2004 yellow convertible to cruise Hwy 98.
Anybody have an opinion about which online marketing site is the most reliable. I have found several cars I would like but learned that they were sold months ago and the site wasn't maintained. Looking for any suggestions. btw/ those tuition bills killed me. I have a limited budget of about $15k.

1979 l-48
I found an 1979 L-48. It is yellow with t-tops of course. It has been repainted and the interior is really in good shape. Only one crack in the bolster on the passenger side. Car has 92k on it and they are asking $11,995. I haven't been able to find a value on this car except by comparing cars for sale, and those values are all over the planet. It is being brokered by Streetside Classics.
Anyone have any thoughts?
