First time Corvette owner
Hello all and greetings from Canada!
I just got myself a very nice 1970 Corvette. It's a numbers matching 300HP/350CID with 4 speed trans unit. The 1970 Corvettes are the first car I can remember falling in love with. I was 10 years old in 1970 and when I first saw those new Corvettes I knew I would own one some day! Well, it took 43 years but I finally have a '70 Vette. I don't think I will ever part with this baby.
I learned a lot from this forum about what to look for and watch out for when buying a C3 Corvette. That information was invaluable and helped me rule out several potential purchases. Thank you to all members here who freely share information for the benefit of others. I hope to do likewise as soon as I have anything to contribute.

I know the feeling. I fell in love when I saw my first midyear at the age of 12 and it took me 43 years as well to have my dream come true. Those early C3s are really cool. Congrats and enjoy .
