Greetings hot rodders and purists. My first Vette was a 1990 Z51 6 speed that I used as a daily driver and for occasional street stock Autocross races. My new Vette is a 1993 that has been tweaked a bit. The 350 was bored .035 over and stroked to a 383. Rear wheel dyno results were 415HP, 450FP. The Muncie was replaced with a Richmond close ratio 5 speed. She is scary fast with scratch in 4 gears. Suspension was replaced front and rear with a bone jarring (terrific handling) VBP Performance Plus mono leaf system with tubular A-Arms and an A-Arm brace. All badges have been removed for a stealth look. Antenna relocated under the vehicle. No rust We still have some bugs to work out. Speedometer calibration, hurst shifter rattle, AC replacement, rattle in the exhaust, claybar the paint, shoulder seatbelt installation, thermostatic control for electric fan (always on), stereo replacement, fire extinguisher installation, cleaning and preventive maintenance of the door locks (they are sticky) and general inspection of the vehicle.
