long time sports car afficianado, never a Vette owner, dabbling in the market for a C5 or possibly C6 in the next months. Figured I would register so the fine people in the Classifieds section will be able to take me seriously when i make an offer on a car with a post count over 1
Always a Vette fan, running a 1990 RX7 for the last few years. It's slow in a straight line but fast round corners, great driver's car, and has caught it's share of much-faster-in-a-straight-line ponycars @ local tracks.
Looking to step up to the Vette for it's killer combination of speed, handling, reliability, availability, and relatively low cost. Seriously cross-shopped Caymen up to Noble & Rossion - can't beat the good old all-American Vette!
One wife, one mortgage, 5 kids, 3 cars (Vette would replace the RX toy) and I cycle to work!
