Finally after 40 plus years of wanting a vette, I'm now a proud owner. It started back in the 60's pumping gas at my fathers station, seeing those awesome Stingrays roll up to the pumps. Told myself, someday that'll be me. I picked up a 79 coupe, awesome paint, all the smog crap removed, interior in great shape. It's great fun to drive and tinker with.
Looking forward to making a couple of the car shows, seeing what else is out there.
Cool... Thanks for the link.. I'll see you at one soon. Hitting a couple of the events here local (Findlay). I'll drop you a note when I head out to one of the events listed. It'll be great to make some new friends and talk cars.

I guess there was an event last night in Findlay. Someone asked me this morning if I was where all the Vettes were last night. I'll find out today if they have a weekly thing going or what ever. I'll pass on what I find out.
There is a get together every Thrusday starting at 5 at Mickey D's on Tiffen Ave in Findlay. It's not just vettes, there's a bit of everything. I'm going to hit that tonight.
And I'm also hearing there is going to be a Coffee and Cars in Findlay, not sure when or where. Not sure if it's something just starting, or if it's been going on for awhile. I'll pass it on as I find out more.
