Sup Y'all?
Hey everyone, the name's Bailey!
I'm new here, obviously, and since it's common to say hi, I figured I'd do so here.
I live in PA, outside of Philadelphia, in a town called Ardmore, not too far from where they had the US Open in June. I'm 29, and I've always wanted a Corvette ever since I was a little kid. They've always been my favorite sports car. As fate would have it, I would eventually come to own one later on in life, though at a very steep price - I inherited it from my uncle. In a lot of ways, I think my uncle bought it for the two of us, fully intending to leave it to me upon his death, though I'd prefer to have him back instead.
I love my Vette, and hope to keep it long enough to pass onto my kid(s) and keep the tradition alive. Unfortunately, it has some mechanical problems, which is what ultimately brought me to this corner of the internet (look for my post(s) in another section), but I feel like it's stuff that's fixable and could do myself.
Here's the lowdown on my veehickle (please note, I did NOT install anything on this car ... this is how I got it):
2004 C5 T-Top
Corsa Exhaust (missing exhaust tips for some reason, though ... I think they were the Daytona tips)
FAST Fuel Injection system
Various body work incl custom hood, real spoiler, racing tires, front splitter (currently detached)
I think there's been other work done to the engine, but I don't know for sure since I don't have all the paperwork on it.
