Default Newbie Considering first Vette

Took an interesting path to finding my way to Corvettes. Have had friends who have owned them but was never overly interested. Started to look at muscle cars (old Camero, GTO, Mustang...) and a used porsche (wife has an 85 930) - classic mid-life crisis toy thing. Was torn between American muscle characteristics (full throttle sound a raw power, big guy friendly) and true performance.

This brought me to the C7... which seems to me a great combination of the two, at a very reasonable price.

Have started to stalk the C7 conversations, fantastic info there.....

I have two specific questions, given I've never driven a vette I'd like to drive a C7 before a buy one - should I wait until I can do that or would driving a 2013 give me the in/out feel I'm looking for.

Will a C7 comfortably fit a 6'2" 230lb guy?

Thanks

OTB

My dad is 6'2 and has got you beat by quite a few pounds. We own and have owned everything from a C1 on up. He does like to sit in them to ensure that he is comfortable before purchase. I recently sat in a C7 and I found that it had more room than I expected. I told my dad that he would fit great and would really enjoy it. He is excited to try it out. I don't think you will have any type of problem and will be very comfortable!!

Happy shopping!!
