Help with engine ID
Hello.
My name is Mito. A new member.
I just purchased a Corvette engine was told it's a 1968 427. It has a Holly Aluminum Intake with a four Barrel Carb.
This engine is in a 51 Chevy car therefore, I cannot get to the casting numbers on back of driver's side head cause it's too close to firewall.
However, it has a number on front Pass side head. I really need to find out what engine I have.. Here's the number as best as I can see.
1I2281B 01100444 again, this number is on front of passenger side head.
