Hi All!
Hi,
I'm Travis, and I've lurked around here for about 3 Months, off and on, about the C3.
I'm 47 and live in San Diego, Ca. I was just given a standard 82 vette from a good friend who could not get it to run then he let it sit uncovered in the sun for about 4 years. Reading tips and suggestions on this site I had it up and running in about 2 weeks. Needless to say it needs a lot of work yet to be road ready but I have a little time on my hands so I took this on as a hobby. I always wanted to be a mechanic. I'm going through the school of hard knocks on this one. This is my first corvette.
At this point I'm really not qualified to give anyone any pearls on this model but in time you may just get tired of hearing from me. Nice to meet everyone.
If anyone in the San Diego area has a C3 and would like to chat let me know! Cheers!
