Old Guy, First Vette
Just brought home my first Corvette. A black on black grand sport. Nothing fancy for options. What a great car! Waited all my life for this to happen.
I already found a good idea here about removing the exhaust fuse so it sounds great all the time. If I go on a trip, I put the fuse back in and it's back to quiet.
Looking forward to more tips from this forum.

Hi Tom,
Well, I turned 50 in May, work out of state ALOT, and I made the decision as well. I bought a 2002 Corvette Coupe, low mileage, and in great shape yesterday... I LOVE IT, no post purchase blues for me today. I can't wait to get in it and ride!!!

This took a lot longer than I'd hoped, but at 55 I can still have a lot of fun with it. My wife actually pushed me on the purchase, but didn't have to push much.

Good to see us seasoned guys tooling around in these beasts. Here's a pic of mine. The landscaping took a back seat to my car, lol. It's next on the list, though.
