First Vette

After several years in the German car world (Audi/Porsche), I purchased my first Corvette this summer, a 2013 Torch Red Grand Sport Coupe. As someone who can never leave well enough alone, I tend to tinker a little bit. So far I have only added a full width rear spoiler, then today I installed a power retractable front license plate bracket to avoid the newly added front plate fine in Texas, yet usually avoid the eyesore of the front plate.

I will always be lurking the site for thoughts and ideas - I am thinking about some full-length racing stripes right now...

I got the retractable plate frame thru Amazon from Yates Performance. I haven't been able to attach a video to this post, so you can see a video clip I posted on my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/tom.aanerud?ref=tn_tnmn

The install took me less than an hour by myself with basic tools. I can't attest to how it will hold up over time as I just installed it today, but it seems good right now.
