My first Corvette maybe?
I've been working on the bucket list for a little while. A couple years ago I bought a used Sportster at an off season price. This summer I bought a friend's '57 Bel Air that had been in storage for 10+ years and is now a daily driver, at least until the snow flies. I've been Corvette shopping for a while. Because of my location (northern Maine) my choices are limited unless I want to travel to the southern end of the state. Later today I will test drive a 1995 here in my home town. The dealer wants $6995 but is motivated to get it off the lot before winter. It has 134,000 miles. Someone put three huge Kenwood amps behind the seat. It looks good other than a loose and floppy driver's door panel, a power seat that only partially works, stuff like that. Another one I will be looking at tomorrow (50 miles away) is a black 1984 with 93,000 miles and new tires. He wants $5000. Not a clue about that one, as tomorrow will be my first look other than cell phone photos. I know you can't generalize, but on the surface, which one sounds more appealing?
