Thank you My Corvette bros, Life is good in vetteville. Anyone remember the old 350 crank conversion kit for a 400? My LT1 had some badly spun bearings, the machine shop said new block, to which I said hold the center line and clean it up. it took .050 to clean up the main journals. .025 bearing shims and standard bearings put me a .0015 to .002 main oil clearance.
Runs great, 25 psi oil at idle temps a rock solid and a tight timing chain to boot.
