hello from vt!
i googled "how do i shop for a c3" and found this site, then used all the guidleines i could find while checking her out.
came with meticulous maintenance records, but has a few ****ling things to fix and they seem to be common: faulty tach, clock, and heater control lever is stuck so no defrost/AC. came with a service manual, so we'll so how i do.
am happy as hell, only wish it were summer. i love tinkering on mechanical devices, my hobby is restoring early 70's japanese bikes in the off-season then riding 'em for a while. i usually sell them for a small profit, that in turn supports my r75/6 and ducati 900ss habit(s).

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 'Vette. How's the driving experience been? Thank you for your service as well.

came with new (110 miles) 255 60-15 tires that result in some road noise, am planning on installing some cabin insulation over the winter along with some other improvements. this will be great fun!
ps - am not a retired colonel, i bought my c3 from one. a great dude, and a humbling experience to meet him.
