I rescued a very low mileage Centennial Edition Grand Sport two weeks ago that was traded in on a Mustang at the local Ford store here in Conroe, TX. They did though show it proper respect and had it in the center of the new car showroom.
I had to sell my last Corvette, a 1964, in 1970 after me and my wife were married and needed some money. So it's great to be back!
WELCOME BACK. Same kind of thing with me-owned 2 63's and a 75 in the past. All sold for home improvements or some other silly thing. Just got an 06 and couldn't be happier. Corvettes have come a long way! The C6 is by far my favorite-Fast and Comfortable! What do you think of yours compared to the 64? Nice to have a car that doesn't fly at 100MPH isn't it?.........

Hard to compare, not fair to the '64. I found a way to settle my '64 down at speed. I'd pop the hood and it would raise up 5 inches, give or take, the front end would settle down, that old 30 30 cam would go to work, and the fun would start. Not many places to do that anymore around here, so many cars.
Thanks to everyone for the welcome!
