I always do research before any purchase and I am asking the forum to recommend any and all reading materials, books, (especially historical ones,) chronicles or other forums (forae?) so I can do my homework. Any clubs to join or car shows I should consider going to. Finally, I would like to make my purchase using cash and a classic car loan so as to keep reserves intact using them as collateral if necessary. I am well equipped to make this buy. Please help me out.

These cars are 45 to 60 years old and can have a lot of issues. There are also a lot of fakes out there and the terms used by sellers can be misleading. If you have not had one in the past, I strongly suggest you start looking for an expert to do an inspection before you buy any older corvette. There are local corvette clubs to join as well as the NCRS.

Thanks DAHOGAN. I am looking for the books now. I appreciate your understanding what I am trying to do. I am not in this for the money but I really want to do this right. Wish me luck.
