Greetings from Oz. I have just purchased my first corvette, a 81 C3.
The vehicle was imported into Australia last April by the previous owner. From what I can gather from the souvenirs i found inside, looks like the vet originated from Sacramento. I decided to buy it a the right price and will be doing a body off restoration and a LS1 engine upgrade at the same time. Looking at a couple of years as there is a lot of work to get this old vet back to its former glory. It has had a small hit in the front L/H guard, which has had an ugly repair carried out, but the rest of the body and chassis look pretty good at this point, until I get the body off. Looks like I will need a complete new interior as almost all the panels and consoles have damage.
Will post some pictures in the future,
