Noob here sayin
Wanted to introduce myself. I am long time lurker of the forum and figured was a good time to finally join up. Going to be buying my first Corvette soon. C6, and I'm eyeballing the 7.0L. I come from a long line of VW cars, of which my latest was a 1.8t gti. I have relocated to the Texas area, got me a 2012 Passat as a day driver and am eager to fill my garage with a C6. I had been looking to get into a Gen 2 Viper but realized the error of my desires would lead me down a path of hyper-expensive parts and no one to work on it. I look forward to tooling around with an ls7 on my own and seeing what kind of trouble I can get into.
That is all

To be more specific: I am 100% green-lit to purchase (married). I have a certain budget and know I want the 7.0L. From what I have researched here on the forums, maintainence is paramount, so milage isn't a determining factor.
I'm looking for naturally aspirated raw power. Coming from forced inducted VWs I am traumatized from broken boost lines, constant CELs, and turbos that fail prematurely. So, motor motor motor, that's what I'm after. As far as transmissions, I am leaning more for the auto than the stick. Bad knee... That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
My DD comes with heated seats and navigation so that won't be a determining factor either.
I look forward to learning more from the forums and from all you Corvette Pros.

I thoroughly enjoyed my boost on my dub. I won't go into detail how many cars I've pulled on with that little pocket rocket
, but it always came at a price = break downs and worn parts.I'm ready to make people throw up in their mouths a little when they hear a monster roll by converting air into fire. If I had to choose a single word to describe what I'm after, it would be: Debauchery.
