Long intro from Utah
A good friend and co-worker fueled my fire to purchase my first Corvette (a lifetime dream) a few years ago by letting me take care of one of his Corvettes, a Pewter 2000 Coupe which ended up being about 6 months of heaven. It had a few things that needed to be fixed, flasher/blinker, window leaks, headlight gears, little things here and there. I was able to get a fair share of them taken care of before I reluctantly returned his car. This forum was where I found all of the answers I was seeking. Thanks!
So in trying to make this long story a little shorter, the forum helped me decide on the car I was on the hunt for, the last year of the C5, and after a couple of years looking, I found it. I'm now the very proud owner of a Black 2004 Coupe completely stock and ready for some mods. I have clay barred, waxed, and waxed it again. My sons thought I was crazy for polishing it daily. It's pretty damn shiny!
Corvette season is over here, but I can still get my fix by looking in the garage and then jumping on the forum. Thanks for being here, you all Rock!!!
Cheers
