Hello from New Member
As of yet, I don't own a Corvette, but I'm considering buying a C3. The more I read, the more I think an early seventies model would be right for me. I have my eye on a '71 right now. Although things are still very much up in the air as to what model and when, I read a lot of good things about this forum and decided that joining before purchasing would be a wise move.
My interest in cars is broad. Corvettes are one of many that I love. Currently, I own a 1967 Mustang GTA s-code (390) convertible. I hope one day to own a 1968-70 Dodge Charger, too. I hope this is not seen as heretical chat in the Corvette Forum.

I love talking about cars and am really looking forward to chatting with and learning from you. And hopefully, when I've amassed some knowledge of my own, I can help out some other members, too.
Glad to meet you!
A new journey you’ve begun. Hmm? Unlearn what you have learned of Corvettes. Yes? Hmm? Preconceptions lead to biases. Biases lead to prejudices. Prejudices lead to FEAR. (Biases also lead to poor handling... Biases lead to Polyglas, Polyglass lead to radials, radials lead to tubeless tires, tubeless tires lead to RUNFLATS.) Grunt…
Your mind, you must expand. Your heart, you must open. Yes? From fiberglass-construction, performance and sensuality, in it find (To go fast and get there quickly, desire you will).
Battles to conquer, each of us has; Hmm… Predisposition to under-steer have some, tachometer that never works acceptably have others. Conceding that no other car personifies as much passion as your corvette, shall be yours. Yes?
At each generation, look you will. Hmm? Yes... Every characteristic and imperfection reflect on, you must. Yes, gone your budget will be. Vanished your earnings will stay. Already spoken for your spare time is. Hmm… Close friendships, forge, you shall.
A Jedi, you will become.
