Hello all.
for several weeks I have been perusing this site and have now made the leap to buy my second corvette. I had owned a 98 C5 several yrs ago and now have bought a project '73. First task is to get the stuck hood open and fix the door latch on the driver's side. Looking forward to learning lots about paint as I intend, gulp, to do myself.

Good luck with your project. 73's are very special as I had a 72 as my first Corvette. Welcome to CF from Indy!

Welcome! as a 40 yr, 10 corvette owner each series has it's own attraction. The C1, C2 and C3 represent the first 29 year legacy of corvette. With the C4-C7 the technology expanded by leaps and bounds. After a successive new 2010 and new 2012 Grand Sport, I found myself wanting one from the early legacy years. I sold my GS and bought a first year Shark '68 Rally Red Roadster, which I love the back to basics early rocket. I also have a '98 Torch Red Roadster for creature comfort cruising. C3's are great fun and the aircraft gages look really takes you back. Welcome aboard!
