Hi folks, I am the owner of a 1989 Corvette Convertible. I have had this car for over 8 years now. I realized that this site existed on my own while searching for repair tips on my car. I have often found myself visiting this site's forum and have found it very helpful in the past.
I am a US Navy vet that had a past career as a P3 Flight Engineer and Aircraft Mechanic - Hence my screen name "Fe Larry". I enjoy working on my car since I only do it as a hobby. I am currently trying to resurrect my C4 from what was in an overall poor state of condition when purchased, to a very desirable and mechanically sound Vette. It has been an interesting journey so far!
I look forward to "hanging out" with all of you and many thanks for letting me be a part of this!

Larry,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service! How have you enjoyed your 'Vette?
Welcome and thank you for your service. I went to 'A' school in Millington Tenn. There was a P3 squadron stationed there. I wonder if this is where you were stationed.
I enjoy the car when I can get it out of the garage. Currently, I have the dash disassembled in order to trouble shoot a problem with the climate control. My problem lies with a bad heater door actuator motor (for sure) and possibly a bad programmer. Haven't had much luck finding these parts though.

Eric, Thank you for your service shipmate! I was never stationed in Tenn. My P3 squadrons were VP5, VP30 & VP62 in Jacksonville, Florida. My "A" school was done in a weird location for aviation types in Norfolk VA back in 1982.
