I joined last year when I got my first corvette, been researching since. Now I have some questions but thought an intro should come first.
I have a 1970, which is the year I became a teenager and discovered cars. I have always wanted a chrome bumper C3 and last year I finally took the plunge.
The color is Laguna Gray, which I had never seen before. It was the first of many things I have discovered with this car.
A past owner attempted an LT1 clone, hence the LTwannaB handle. I am missing lots of the original parts as a result. At least the block, trans and frame have the matching VIN subset.
I live on a gravel road, so this will be a driver not a show car. I still want to restore it to original as much as practical, but a $10k paint job is not in the cards!
I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge from this forum and look forward to continuing this journey.
